Fees & Insurance Information

We accept most major insurance plans.

If you are covered by a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), a Preferred Providers Organization (PPO) or some other managed care program, or if your require treatment from a work related injury, please tell us know when you make your appointment. Most insurers require special advance authorization before treatment can begin. If your injury is work related, you must bring a copy of your injury report or have your company call us to verify your coverage.

Per your contract with your insurance company, your co-pay and/or deductible are your responsibility and will be collected by Southwest Orthopaedic Group at the time of service. If you are unsure of your co-pay and/or deductible responsibility, contact your insurance provider at the (800) number provided on your insurance card.

If you do not have insurance to pay for your care, you must make payment at time of service. If we are not affiliated with your insurance plan, payment in full is expected at the time of service. If your insurance denies coverage you are responsible for services rendered.

For your convenience we accept Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.

Prescription Refill Policy

Prescription refills and authorizations are answered between
8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

policiesRefills requested at other times will be filled only for extreme or emergent cases only. Refill requests must be sent by your pharmacy. Your pharmacy will send the request to our office for approval.

Once we receive the request from your pharmacy our standard turnaround is within 24 hours weekdays upon the physicians’ approval. Pharmacy turnaround will vary, so please allow ample time for refills. For emergency refills during after hours or weekends have your pharmacy contact the Medical Exchange at 512-323-5362. Narcotics can only be filled during normal business hours.
