Prescription refills and authorizations are answered between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Refills requested at other times will be filled only for extreme or emergent cases only. Refill requests must be sent by your pharmacy. Your pharmacy will send the request to our office for approval.
Once we receive the request from your pharmacy our standard turnaround is within 24 hours weekdays upon the physicians’ approval. Pharmacy turnaround will vary, so please allow ample time for refills. For emergency refills during after hours or weekends have your pharmacy contact the Medical Exchange at (512) 467-5014. Narcotics can only be filled during normal business hours.
